Sister Locks Consultation
Consultation will include a discussion of client’s hair care history, styling preferences and lifestyle.
Client will also receive sample locs in order to determine appropriate size of locs and locking pattern that best suits client’s hair.
Consultation for Transfer Clients
For clients who have Sisterlocks installed by a Certified Sisterlocks Consultant or Sisterlocks Practitioner/Trainee and want to transfer to a new Sisterlocks Trainee.
During this session, the client’s Sisterlocks will be assessed to determine if client will be accepted for further appointments.
Sister Locks Establishment

Sisterlocks Retightening (4-6 weeks)
For current clients who are 4-6 weeks past their last retightening appointment.
$150 for first 5 hours for regular density clients.
$30 for each additional hour.
Client’s hair must be freshly shampooed and free of any kind of hair products prior to service.
Sisterlocks Retightening (High Density 4-6 weeks)
For current high density clients who are 4-6 weeks past their last retightening appointment.
$170 for first 5 hours for high density clients.
$30 for each additional hour.
Client’s hair must be freshly shampooed and free of any kind of hair products prior to service.
Sisterlocks Retightening (6+ weeks)
For current clients who are more than 6 weeks past their last retightening appointment.
$175 for the first 5 hours regular density.
$25 for each additional half hour.
Clients hair must be freshly shampooed and free of any kind of hair products prior to service.
Sisterlocks Retightening (6+ for High Density)
For current high density clients who are more than 6 weeks past their last retightening appointment.
$195 for the first 5 hours for high density
$30 for each additional half hour.

Retightening for Transfer Clients
Initial/one time fee of $180 for the first 5 hours for clients whose locs have normal new growth and low/regular density hair. For high density hair the initial transfer fee is $200. $30 per additional hour.

Interlocks Consultation
Includes assessment of hair to determine size of interlocks, interlocking method, instruction for loc care, estimated time for installation and quoted price for service.

Medium Interlocks Installation
CONSULTATION REQUIRED prior to scheduling this service.
$600 (up to 4 inches)

For current clients with excessive new growth/slippage or are more than 8 weeks past their last retightening appointment.

Perimeter Retightening
For current clients who does not want a retighten, but just want the perimeter of their hair retightening,
This will be the first 2-3 rows retightened.

APPOINTMENTS
All service require an appointment. You can schedule your appointment online here. The client will receive an email before your appointment. Please, respond confirmed to the email. However, it is the client’s responsibility to keep up with their scheduled appointments.
ARRIVALS
Clients may arrive 5 minutes early to their appointments.
Clients are required to call Lots of Locs in advance if they are expecting to be late. Delay can backup other services, therefore a $15 late fee will be charged after a 15 minute grace period. If the client is up to 30 minutes late, a $30 dollar late fee will be charged. If the client is more than 30 minutes late, the services may be canceled or additional fees will be charged (20+ minutes; $20, 30 minutes:$25, 45 minutes: $35, 1 hour: $40). All late fees are due upon arrival. It is up to the client to reschedule their missed appointment. If a client is late for a new establishment or installation, a fee of $30 per 30 minute increments will be charged and due upon arrival.
Lots of Locs reserves the right to cancel a client’s appointment should the estimated time of late arrival conflicts with locticians availability.
NO-SHOWS, RESCHEDULING & CANCELATIONS
If a client does not show for a scheduled appointment, the client will be charged 50% of the total cost of service(s).
Clients are required to give a 48 hour advance notice to cancel or reschedule a retightening appointment. Cancellations or rescheduled appointments that are made less than 48 hours prior to the appointment will be charged 50% of the total cost of services scheduled and due immediately. Future appointments will not be approved until the cancellation fee is received.
For new establishments, if an entire day is lost due to rescheduling after the service begins, a lost day fee of $50 will be charged to the client’s total cost of services and is due on the day and before the establishment resumes.
PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION & RETIGHTENING SERVICES
Clients must shampoo their hair within 48 hours of any scheduled appointment and arrive with their hair and scalp free of any products such as conditioner, oil, setting lotion, etc. If client arrives to the appointment with dirty hair or flaky scalp, the appointment will be postponed if time permits or rescheduled.
Establishments and installations are typically completed within 4-5 days unless the stylist determines additional time is required. Each day is blocked for 8-10 hours with two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch. Clients are to provide their own meals. TV programming and Wi-Fi access is provided, however, clients are encouraged their own form of entertainment. Proper arranges should be made to attend the entire day before booking an installation service.
FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT AFTER ESTABLISHMENT
As a part of the Sisterlocks ™, all clients receive a complimentary 3-4 week follow-up after their establishment. If the client does not make their 3-4 week follow-up appointment, the 3-4 week follow-up appointment will be void. The next appointment would be considered a full retightening session where current rates apply.
REPAIR SERVICES
Loc repair services are considered a separate service. If the amount of repair is excessive and cannot be completed during the allotted retightened time, an additional appointment will need to be scheduled. Separate fees will apply.
PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS
Services are “by appointment only” which require first-time clients to reserve a credit/debit card when scheduling the appointment. In addition, all services require a small NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. The deposit will be credited towards the total cost of services and the balance is due on the first day of the appointment before the session begins. A confirmation e-mail is sent to the email address provided at creation of online account. Furthermore, you will receive a text message the day before your appointment. If you do not confirm your by 9:00pm the day before your appointment, you will be considered a “no show” and you will have to reschedule at a later date.
A deposit of $300 is required to schedule a Sisterlock™ establishment. A deposit of $185+ dollars is required to schedule an interlocks installation appointment. This deposit is required to secure the client’s desired date and is NON-REFUNDABLE. The deposit will only be applied to an establishment or installation should you need to reschedule. Clients are only allowed to apply the original deposit ONE (1) rescheduled establishment appointment.
Payments can be made online or in person. Cash and Square are the only acceptable form of payment. Checks are NOT accepted. There will be NO refunds for services rendered.

SICKNESS OR ILLNESS
If client is sick or caring for someone with a communicable disease, please reschedule your appointment until conditions/symptoms have been cleared 24-48+ hours.
DISMISSAL FROM SERVICES
If a client develops a history of late or canceled appointments. Lots of Locs reserve the right to dismiss the client from services and may elect to deny client any future services. Clients may also be dismissed for any other irreconcilable differences deemed by Lots of Locs.
SMOKING
Smoking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED on or near the premises. Please make sure that the client’s hair, clothing and other belongings are free of the smell of smoke. Services will not be rendered in the presences of the odor of smoke.
CHILDREN & GUESTS
Guest are not allowed during appointments while client is receiving service. In order to maintain the productivity of the client’s service. Children under the age of 16, who is being serviced, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the appointment.
DISCLOSURE OF USAGE
Lots of Locs reserve the right to photograph all work for advertisement and demonstrative purposes. All photographs that appear on social media are the property of Lots of Locs and may not be used for any other purpose. Photographs of work may also be used in subsequent years.
